DPMM FC played in the second round 16 match of the Malaysia Cup against Kelantan Red Warriors.

In the match held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas, DPMM FC drew one all against Kelantan Red Warriors. In the first match on 17th January, DPMM FC defeated Kelantan Red Warriors, 2 - NIL, giving them a 2 - NIL advantage to advance to the quarter-finals.
